Rebecca Duplantie

Rebecca Duplantie is an articling student in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office.
 
Rebecca earned a JD degree/bachelor of civil law at the University of Ottawa. In addition to her studies, she also worked as a research assistant where she conducts literature reviews of the newest edition of Halsbury's Laws of Canada – Mortgages. Rebecca also worked as an assistant for professor J. Roach at the University of Ottawa, where she was responsible for drafting memorandums destined for the Association of Retired Professors of the University of Ottawa and acted as an intermediary between students and the professor.
 
Prior to attending law school, Rebecca completed a bachelor of social sciences, with a major in criminology and a minor in civil law, at the University of Ottawa. During her studies, she was a clerk at a housing services organization.
 
In addition to her studies, Rebecca was a mentor and president of the student association at the University of Ottawa.
 
Rebecca is fluent in both English and French.
