Richard Thomas

Richard joined Gowling WLG in the summer of 2023 as a senior solicitor in our large real estate site set up team.

He is highly experienced in residential development work, acting for national and regional house builders on all aspects site set up (both residential and mixed-use schemes) to include related infrastructure agreements, management companies, management agreements and exit strategy arrangements.

Richard is also familiar with the recent changes in the law and practice in this field. In particular the New Homes Quality Code, Rent charges, Leasehold Reform and Building Safety.

His role is to ensure site set ups (i.e. preparation of the plot sales packs) are done accurately and on time and also as a point of escalation and a problem solver on plot sales and old development queries.
