Sarah Li

Sarah Li is an associate in Gowling WLG's Calgary office, practising in the Intellectual Property Group. Her practice focuses on patent litigation, as well as patent prosecution and transactional work involving IP assets.
Sarah obtained her JD from the University of Calgary. Prior to entering law school, she completed her BSc in biochemistry from McGill University. 
During law school, Sarah completed a legal internship with Innovate Calgary's Intellectual Property Management group, where she managed litigation files and clients. She was also actively involved with the University of Calgary's Student Legal Assistance (SLA), where she volunteered as a student caseworker and represented clients on a range of issues, including criminal, traffic, landlord tenants and family matters. During her first year of law school, she also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada's Family Law Project. 
Sarah is a member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC).
