Sarah Scott

Sarah is a Birmingham-based senior associate who specialises in advising clients on a wide range of non-contentious property matters with a particular focus on helping clients to acquire and develop land for the purpose of providing affordable housing (including turnkey, golden brick, conditional and unconditional contracts); refinancing; property disposals; acquisitions; and leases.

Sarah started her career over 18 years ago by handling Right to Buy and Right to Acquire sales. On qualifying as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2007, she quickly progressed to shared ownership sales and then to dealing with setting up the conveyancing documentation for new shared ownership and extra care schemes (to include tailoring the leases for each scheme).

Sarah has worked with Registered Providers with regard to mortgage rescue, acquisitions of property portfolios and also with the due diligence connected with putting their stock into charge.

Sarah has a real understanding of the needs of our Registered Provider clients having worked in-house as the Senior Property Lawyer for a major Registered Provider in Birmingham where she managed and advised the internal clients and directors in relation to their 33,000 unit portfolio.
