Scarlett Trazo

Scarlett Trazo is an associate lawyer in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office, practising in the area of commercial litigation. She both summered and articled at Gowling WLG.

Scarlett earned her law degree at the University of Ottawa in the French Common Law program. During her studies, she participated in the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot in Washington, D.C.

Prior to attending law school, Scarlett completed a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Concordia University in Montréal, Que. While completing her degree, she worked for the Montréal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies (MIGS) as a research and administrative assistant.

Scarlett is currently mentoring a University of Ottawa Law Practice Program candidate. From 2016-2017, she volunteered as a peer mentor for the Faculty of Law's Department of Equity and Academic Success. She was featured in the Law Foundation of Ontario's 2016 Annual Report.

Scarlett is fluent and practises in both English and French languages.
