Scarlett Trazo

Scarlett Trazo is a bilingual associate in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office, practising in the Advocacy Group. Her practice focuses on corporate and commercial litigation matters.

Scarlett advises and assists individual and corporate clients on a wide range of matters, including contractual disputes and professional liability issues. She has represented clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Small Claims Court, and the Health Professionals Appeal Review Board.

Scarlett obtained her law degree in French from the University of Ottawa. Since 2018, she has developed a keen interest in the emerging legal risks associated with artificial intelligence (AI). She has published articles and has delivered presentations on this topic on numerous occasions.

In addition to her legal practice, Scarlett enjoys watching Japanese anime to improve her understanding and pronunciation of the language.
