Sharon Chernyak is an associate in Gowling WLG’s Toronto office and a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Group. Her practice focuses on intellectual property litigation and strategy in the areas of trademarks, patents, and copyright.
Sharon earned her J.D. (Cum Laude) from the University of Ottawa with a specialization in Health Law, where she served as a research assistant at both the Centre for Law, Technology, and Society and the Canadian Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Ethical Design Lab. Prior to law school, Sharon obtained a Bachelor of Health Sciences with distinction from McMaster University.
