Stéphanie Dionne-Parent

Stéphanie Dionne-Parent is an associate lawyer in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office, practising in the Advocacy department.

Stéphanie completed both the civil law and national programs at the University of Ottawa. During her studies, she was a research assistant to the now Honourable Justice Sebastien Grammond, and conducted the update of his book, Quebec Contract Law. She was also a designated tutor for first year students and served as vice-president of organization for the Association de Droit des Affaires de l'Université d'Ottawa (ADAUO).

An active participant in moot competitions, Stéphanie received the Barreau de l'Outaouais award for her involvement in the Pierre-Basile Mignault moot competition (civil law), placed first in the Norton Rose Professional Responsibility Moot and was a finalist and part of the Best Appellant Team in the Exchequer Moot (privacy law and access to information).

Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Stéphanie completed a clerkship at the Federal Court of Canada with the Honorable Justice René LeBlanc, and her Quebec articles at another national law firm in Montréal.

Stéphanie is fluent in English and French and practises in both languages.
