Swagat Boruah

Swagat Boruah is a summer law student in Gowling WLG's Toronto office. He is completing his LLM (Business Law) at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.

Previously, Swagat worked as a legal intern for Chief Justice D.Y. Chandrachud at the Chambers of Justice in India in 2018. After that, he became an advocate at the Supreme Court of India, serving from 2020 to 2022.

Swagat will focus his summer in the firm's Business Law Department.
