Tony Fielding

Tony has 20 years of experience as a specialist legal advisor to global technology, media and communications companies. Tony has an international client base and perspective; working and advising clients in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, London and the Middle East. Tony's practice is focussed on emerging and disruptive technologies including cryptocurrencies, blockchain, AI, autonomous vehicles, as well as cloud software and licencing arrangements, and e-commerce, data monetisation, complex strategic sourcing and procurement system integration projects, Infratech and Smart City projects, digital transformation projects, telecoms and IT advisory and cross jurisdictional data privacy and protection advice.

Tony's practice crosses all sectors, with particular experience and understanding in telecommunications, aviation, automotive, AI, retail, healthcare, fintech, projects and infrastructure; advising key players in these sectors.

Tony has worked for both top tier laws firms and as in-house legal counsel for international tech and telecom companies and regulatory authorities and is known for understanding of his client's technology, their business models and strategy for success in both developed and emerging markets. Tony becomes part of the client team, working closely with their key stakeholders, collaborating to bring clarity to complex legal problems and finding solutions that reflect his client's immediate business requirements as well as their long term strategies. He delivers excellent, effective and implementable legal advice with a keen cross cultural awareness.
