Veronica Van Dalen

Veronica is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office. 

Veronica received her law degree from the University of Ottawa, graduating cum laude with a specialization in law and technology.

During her studies, Veronica interned for the criminal court judges of the Ontario Court of Justice, as well as for the Canadian Internet Registration Authority. She was delighted to volunteer with the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund throughout her degree, and eventually developed a series of community reproductive justice workshops through the organization. Veronica enjoyed co-directing, co-producing, and choregraphing uOttawa’s law school musical in her graduating year.

Prior to entering law school, Veronica completed her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in biochemistry at Mount Allison University, where she defended a thesis studying an algal metabolic pathway.

Veronica worked as a law student at a boutique condominium law firm in Ottawa before joining Gowling WLG.
