Victoria Antoinette Asikis

Victoria Asikis is an associate in the Business Law Group at Gowling WLG's Ottawa office. Victoria's practice focuses on advertising, commercial and regulatory law related to foods and beverages, cosmetics, natural health products, drugs, and other consumer products, including jewelry, textiles, toys, and household products. Her practice also involves provincial licencing and corporate compliance associated with multi-level marketing and direct selling. She regularly engages with Federal government agencies including Health Canada, the Competition Bureau, and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. Victoria’s clients include a strong network of female-identifying entrepreneurs who rely on her for corporate and general business advice.

Victoria believes in giving back and is actively involved in Gowling WLG’s robust mentorship program for law students where she aims to nurture relationships and help create safe spaces for the firm’s future lawyers to communicate, learn and grow. In addition to her professional responsibilities, Victoria is also community-minded. She was Captain for Team Gowling WLG (Ottawa) at the 2021 and 2022 CIBC Run for the Cure and Ottawa Run for Women, achieving major fundraising goals for these important charity runs.

Victoria is an avid runner, having completed the New York City Marathon (2019) and Chicago Marathon (2021). She has appeared on several podcasts, including the Ali on the Run Show, Women Run Canada and Single Lady Estates, where she shares her passion for her work, running, and championing the ambition and success of women and millennials.
