Victoria Pearson

Victoria Pearson helps clients to manage their acquisitions, restructurings and joint ventures in a timely and efficient manner while minimising risk.

Victoria advises on the full range of corporate transactions, with particular experience in M&A and private equity. Utilising an in-depth knowledge of the legal process, she works hard to ensure her client's transactions are of a high standard and delivered on time. With a broad client base and breadth of experience, she brings a wider perspective to each and every client.

In fast-paced and complex transactions, helping those involved bust through the legal jargon and assess risk allows them to stay in control and maximise their rewards. Exercising a 'no surprises' approach, Victoria's focus is often on ensuring that her clients are well-equipped to move forward, with full legal coverage and an in-depth understanding of possible issues (and the likelihood of them occurring).

Working in the corporate world is diverse and challenging. No two days are the same and each transaction, even if for the same company, is different. Every day is a real mixed bag and Victoria enjoys working with a diverse range of people on such a varied workload as she feels she is continually learning new things and preparing new documents.

Clients

Large corporates and privately owned conglomerates, real estate funds, private equity investors (UK and international).

Experience

Working with a real estate fund client on the acquisition of a shopping centre in Scotland. A fatality that occurred on the property during the transaction added a number of complications, meaning that Victoria took on a wide advisory role.

Advising a Swedish family owned conglomerate on multiple acquisitions.

Advising a technology company on a substantial restructure, and the division of certain trades that it is carrying forward.

Assisting a Japanese client, with a significant UK subsidiary, on its acquisition of a company dealing with the distribution of seeds and associated products.
