Gowling WLG's Alexandra Brodie recognised in Global Top 250 Women in IP

Premier IP organisation Managing Intellectual Property has recognised Gowling WLG's Intellectual Property (IP) partner and co-head of our global Tech sector, Alexandra Brodie, as one of its Global Top 250 Women in IP. The list has historically only been open to women in the US, and this is the first year it has been opened up to global practitioners.

Alex said: "I'm extremely pleased to have been recognised by Managing Intellectual Property in their list, particularly as this is the first year it's been open to global practitioners. IP is a challenging and fast-paced discipline, so it's great to see a dedicated resource like MIP recognising the hard work we all put in."

Alex is listed in Chambers UK 2016 as "a great strategist and tactician who knows how to position for success at every level of trial" and has worked on some of Gowling WLG's largest IP cases in recent years. She specialises in multi-jurisdictional disputes in the communications industry.

As well as her IP work, she is co-head of the firm's Tech sector, working with tech clients and effecting introductions and referrals.
