A number of investment funds are diversifying their current property portfolios into the private rental sector (PRS). The sector presents UK and overseas funds with opportunities in London and the regions. Underpinning the viability of such investment is a combination of revenue and capital growth that depends on place, demand, design and management strategy.
We work with clients on developing their rental product and act as an extension of their teams to negotiate and conclude the development, investment and property documentation. Our PRS team includes housing and regeneration lawyers, who work together with our tax and funds teams to ensure the right product is developed for each client.
Our clients in this sector include debt and equity investors, developers, registered providers and local authorities. We have completed significant transactions in the sector and regularly engage with the PRS Taskforce as new projects are brought forward.
