
Bio
Angel Najjar is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Hamilton office.
She received her juris doctor from Western University in 2025, graduating with a designation in Intellectual Property, Information and Technology. During her studies, she also served as president of the Western International Law Association.
Prior to law school, Angel earned a bachelor of science and master of science at McMaster University, where her research focused on the epidemiology of neonatal sepsis. She went on to work as a researcher at the Women’s College Hospital, where she launched the first centralized data collection software for gender-based violence research. The database is now used in more than 37 hospitals province wide, serving to strengthen acute care for survivors in Ontario.
In her spare time, Angel enjoys hiking and gardening.
