Brianna is an associate in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office.
Brianna completed her JD at the University of Windsor. During her studies, Brianna worked as a research assistant on matters related to the regulation of the Paralegal profession. Brianna was also the recipient of the 2020-2021 STEP Canada Prize for Excellence in Wills and Succession Planning.
Prior to entering law school, Brianna attended the University of Ottawa where she completed her Honours Bachelor of Social Science with a Major in Criminology and a Minor in Business Administration. After completing her undergraduate degree, Brianna pursued her passion for culinary arts and attended Le Cordon Bleu in Ottawa where she completed the Diplôme de Pâtisserie, specializing in traditional French pastry and cuisine.
Brianna also completed the Paralegal Diploma program at Algonquin College, receiving her Paralegal license with the Law Society of Ontario in 2017. During her Paralegal studies, Brianna held a placement with the Department of Justice, Civil Litigation section, assisting Senior Paralegals on Small Claims Court matters and Arbitration files. Brianna also worked in private practice as a legal assistant and law clerk with a law firm specializing in insurance defence. In addition, she has worked in various government offices, including the Director of Military Prosecutions with the Office of the JAG and the Ombudsman for National Defence and Canadian Forces.
