Cole Midtdal

Cole Midtdal is an associate in Gowling WLG’s Calgary office, practising in the areas of corporate/commercial litigation. Cole’s practice focuses on complex litigation matters in a wide range of areas, including class actions, insurance coverage disputes, product liability, oil and gas disputes, large property and construction claims, and directors' and officers' liability.

Cole graduated from the law program at the University of Calgary in 2022. Prior to becoming an associate, he summered and articled at Gowling WLG, where he quickly gained experience advocating for clients in a variety of industries.

Cole has appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice and the Alberta Court of King's Bench, as well as assisted with matters heard at the Alberta Court of Appeal. He also has experience in various types of alternative dispute resolution, including mediations and arbitrations.
