Emma has experience advising on a broad range of commercial property transactions in a broad range of sectors, most recently acting for corporate occupier clients in the energy sector, including site acquisition and investigation for energy and infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on battery energy storage system (BESS) and solar sites.

Part of the team acting for a global independent power producer who design and implement large-scale renewable energy plants and working as part of the team acquiring land under option and undertaking detailed title investigation for their new projects.
Advising an energy company in relation to the acquisition of access routes and other title issues around their proposed BESS project, dealing with a variety of complex title matters and providing a solution-driven approach.
Acting for an electric vehicle charging company on the acquisition of new sites including detailed title investigation.
Assisting the team acting for a low carbon energy generator client, helping to prepare template BESS and solar option and lease documents to enable the client to diversify their business.
