Josh Almario

Josh Almario is a partner in Gowling WLG's Toronto office, where he practises in the areas of securities and corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, complex reorganizations and general commercial matters.  

Josh regularly acts for both issuers and dealers in equity and debt public offerings, private placements and strategic investments. He also routinely acts for targets and acquirers in both public and private M&A transactions and has represented Canadian, US and international clients in a broad range of industries, including technology, life sciences, cannabis, energy, retail and private equity. Clients turn to Josh for assistance with corporate governance matters, directors' duties and liabilities, insider trading policies, related party transactions and disclosure obligations of public companies. His clients benefit from his strong negotiating skills, practical regulatory advice, and his ability to simplify complex securities laws.
