Lisa Mitchell

Lisa Mitchell is a Principal Associate in our real estate group and leads our social/affordable housing team on site set-up and the production of template plot sale documents.

Lisa has for many years specialised in site set-up, initially for major house-builders and primarily now for registered providers of social housing, not only in relation to their shared ownership schemes, but also on their move into open market plot sales and private extra care. She works closely with her colleagues across the team from day one deal structuring, through acquisition and development of a scheme to plot sales, which enables her to identify and resolve key issues at an early stage of the site set-up, as well as any which arise as plots are sold.  In addition, her in-depth knowledge of shared ownership grant funding conditions, mortgage lender requirements and industry codes of practice means that she is able to keep her clients abreast of their respective requirements, as well as any changes which may impact on their sales processes and plot sale documents.  Lisa's experience of right to buy/right to acquire legislation means that she can help her clients navigate the complexities of both applicant and property eligibility and service charge limitations.

With her encyclopaedic knowledge of the structure of residential schemes, Lisa is uniquely positioned to  project manage and prepare residential property investment portfolios for market, making innovative use of legal transaction management software and other AI tools for maximum efficiency and visibility.
