Lorenzo Bonera

Lorenzo Bonera is a partner in Gowling WLG's Ottawa office and practises in the Real Estate and Business Law Group. Lorenzo's practice focuses on negotiating and advising clients on commercial real estate transactions, secured lending and commercial leasing. Lorenzo has acted for both institutional and private lenders in connection with secured real estate and commercial loans. Lorenzo has also gained valuable experience acting for private clients in asset and share transactions.

Lorenzo has strong ties to Italy. Drawing on the knowledge he gained from living in Italy prior to moving to Canada, as well as his Italian law degree, he specializes in working with clients on a variety of cross-border legal issues between Canada and Italy, including asset management and disposition, and international estate administration. Lorenzo also provides legal assistance to Italian nationals and companies seeking to do business in Canada.

Prior to joining Gowling WLG, Lorenzo practised at an Ottawa boutique law firm focusing on commercial and residential real estate, private lending and corporate law.
