Maya Thompson

Maya is an Associate in Gowling WLG's Mergers, Acquisitions and Private Equity team, based in London. She qualified through the firm's apprenticeship programme in 2026 after successfully completing the SQE, having graduated with first-class honours from the University of Law in 2024 and previously completing the Paralegal apprenticeship with Gowling WLG in 2019.

Maya has experience advising on a range of corporate matters, including private M&A transactions, investments, joint ventures, group reorganisations and venture capital transactions across the energy, healthcare and technology sectors.
