Bio

Owen is a Legal Director with over 17 years' experience of acting for developer client on the full life cycle of property development projects from site acquisition and assembly through to site disposal. With experience of acting for developers in the commercial sector, he specialises in acting for housebuilder clients on conditional and unconditional instant site acquisitions, strategic site acquisitions and affordable and build to rent disposals.

Owen is technically strong from a legal perspective and is also adept at building deep working relationships with clients, taking the time to understand the client's objectives and concerns on each matter so that the advice he gives is commercially focused and pragmatic ensuring objectives are achieved efficiently and risks managed appropriately.

Advising a national partnership housing provider on a wide range of complex site conditional and unconditional site acquisitions, development agreements and affordable housing disposals.
Advising a national housebuilder on the acquisition of a complex development site for the delivery of circa 700 homes in the south west of England including providing strategic advice in respect of the operation of a collaboration agreement.
Advising a national partnerships housing provider on the acquisition of the gateway development for an urban extension in Coventry and the subsequent disposal of dwellings.
Advising a national housebuilder on the phased acquisition of a site for the delivery of 1000 dwellings in Banbury with the benefit of outline planning permission.
Advising a national housebuilder on the acquisition of a site in Horndean for the delivery of approximately 600 dwellings in a complex deal involving multiple overages.
Advising numerous national housebuilders on the acquisition of sites by way of strategic option agreements.
