Philippe Matziorinis

Philippe Matziorinis is an associate in Gowling WLG's Montréal office, practising in the firm's Intellectual Property and Advocacy groups. He acts for clients on advertising and marketing law matters, with a particular focus in the area of trademarks.

Philippe represents and advises small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as multinational corporations operating in various industries: transportation, sports and leisure, food, luxury goods, finance and banking, entertainment, and chemicals.

He also has experience in civil and commercial litigation, advising on contractual disputes, civil liability and product liability. He has represented clients before the Court of Québec and the Superior Court of Québec.

Philippe holds a bachelor of commerce from McGill University, bachelor of civil law and common law from Université de Montréal, and a master of laws from Université de Montréal. In addition, he obtained a certificate in Chinese law from the China University of Political Science and Law.
