Séminaire
ThinkHouse Digital & Data Seminar - London
19 juin 2025
09:00-13:15
This seminar has been designed specifically for senior in-house counsel who want to take a deeper dive into some of the key legal issues surrounding cyber security.
During the half-day seminar we will cover four topics:
Legislation update
Patrick Arben will brief you on new and proposed cyber resilience legislation related to IoT devices and critical infrastructure. We will compare and contrast new and proposed legislation in the UK with equivalent EU laws and consider the challenges of achieving compliance internationally. We will look at the PSTI and the EU CRA as well as the proposed Cyber Security & Resilience Bill and the EU NIS2.
Cyber contracting
Jocelyn Paulley will look at what cyber security clauses in contracts should cover beyond requiring adherence to a security policy, in light of changing technology, new regulations and an enhanced cyber risk environment.
Cyber insurance
Susannah Fink will look at the benefits of cyber insurance policies, consider their scope of cover and typical exclusions, as well as examining some common myths about cyber coverage.
Incident response planning
In this interactive Q&A session, Adam Shortall of CCL Solutions Group will join Sarah Gray to explore the legal and practical issues that arise in the wake of cyber incidents and, crucially, how organisations can best protect against modern cyber threats.
