Gowling WLG advises Manitok Energy on Raimount Energy acquisition

Gowling WLG advises Manitok Energy Inc. on its $7-million acquisition of Raimount Energy Inc.

On August 19, 2016, Manitok Energy Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiary 1977746 Alberta Inc. (“Acquireco”), completed its acquisition of Raimount Energy Inc. Manitok has acquired, indirectly through Acquireco, all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Raimount, and each Raimount Shareholder will receive six common shares and one and one-half common share purchase warrants in the capital of Manitok in exchange for each Raimount common share held.

Manitok is a public oil and gas exploration and development corporation focusing on conventional oil and gas reservoirs in the Canadian foothills and southeast Alberta.

Raimount is engaged in the exploration for, development of and production of oil and natural gas properties in Western Canada.
