Capital Markets team advises H&T on £16.9 million fundraising

The capital markets team at Gowling WLG has advised H&T Group plc (AIM: HAT), the UK's largest pawnbroker and a leading retailer of high quality new and pre‐owned jewellery and watches, on its raising of gross proceeds of £16.9 million on the London Stock Exchange (LSE). Shore Capital acted as bookrunner and broker.

A total of 3,925,050 new Ordinary Shares have been placed with institutional investors at a price of 425 pence per share. In addition, retail investors have subscribed for a total of 61,357 new Ordinary Shares also at the same price.

The team from Gowling WLG that provided advice in relation to the transaction was led by principal associate Alex Davidson, supported by corporate partner Hugh Maule and trainee Anna Samokhina.
