Capital Markets team advises Cenkos Securities on gateway investment placing for MJ Hudson

The capital markets team at Gowling WLG has advised Cenkos Securities plc as bookrunner and broker on a conditional placing to raise £9 million for the specialist service provider MJ Hudson Group plc.

The placing was undertaken by way of an accelerated bookbuilding process via a conditional placing of New Ordinary Shares at the Issue Price to new and existing institutional investors.

The AIM-listed company has conditionally raised an additional £0.2 million via the offer to facilitate retail investors with an opportunity to participate. Plans for the fundraising cover investing in MJ Hudson Group's Company's fast growing ESG business, improving their net debt position and capitalising on future acquisition opportunities.

Gowling WLG's legal advisory team was led by partner Hugh Maule supported by associate Hannah Shamsolmaali, associate Abby Parkin and trainee solicitor Tasha Cranmer-Brown. The firm also advised Cenkos Securities on MJ Hudson Group plc's admission to the AIM market in 2019.
