Gowling WLG's property team has been awarded the Property Law Firm of the Year accolade at the Insider West Midlands Property Awards 2017.
Held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole, the awards celebrate the achievements of the region's real estate sector. The firm was judged on its recent transactions which have made a real impact in the West Midlands. These include advising Carval on the purchase of Star City, advising HSBC Private Bank on its acquisition of Brindleyplace for £260m, and advising the Arden Cross Consortium on the HS2 Interchange Site, one of the UK's most significant development sites.
The awards also celebrate the work firms do in the community, in terms of the skills, expertise and innovation. Gowling WLG's property team works with a number of regional organisations to help promote and encourage the next generation of property professionals in the area.
