Gowling WLG celebrates two decades of being a 'Great Place to Work' with Lifetime Masters award

30 avril 2020

International law firm Gowling WLG is celebrating its 20th consecutive year of being recognised by Great Place to Work® and has been ranked as one of the top ten best employers in the UK.

Great Place to Work®'s 'UK's Best Workplaces™' latest rankings placed the firm ninth in the 'super-large' category, which includes organisations with more than 1,000 employees.

Gowling WLG is one of only two UK businesses to be ranked every year since the survey first launched in 2001, and in celebration of the 20th anniversary the firm has been presented with a Lifetime Masters award.

This latest accolade follows numerous achievements over the past 12 months, including winning the 'Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion' category at The Lawyer Awards 2019 and securing an Excellence in Wellbeing award from Great Place to Work® last year.

Chief Executive David Fennell said: "We are incredibly proud to be recognised as one of the UK's best workplaces for the 20th consecutive year and for this milestone to be recognised with a Lifetime Masters award. The results are based on feedback from our people and the fact that this feedback has seen us ranked in the survey for two decades is truly testament to the positive, collaborative workplace they have helped to create.

"This feedback is also invaluable in helping us to continue to do even better each year and in turn continue to deliver for our clients. We'll be looking at any areas for improvement and how we can implement any new initiatives across the firm. In the meantime, I'd like to thank all of my colleagues once again for helping to create such a great place to work."

Gowling WLG is an international law firm with more than 1,500 legal professionals across 19 cities providing clients with legal services across the world.
