Gowling WLG has acted for Montreux Healthcare Fund on the bolt-on acquisition of John-Edwards Care Homes by the Active Assistance Group.
John-Edwards Care Homes is an independently owned and run organisation specialising in residential care for adults and children with learning disabilities.
The acquisition sees John-Edwards Care Homes' properties in the South West of England become part of the fund's neurological care platform Active Assistance. Active Assistance is a national care group which specialises in the care of patients with spinal cord and acquired brain injuries
The transaction was led by Gowling WLG corporate director Neil Hendron and partner Hugh Maule, supported by associate Sian Dewing. Real estate aspects were led by Stephen White.
