Gowling WLG re-elects three office managing partners in Canada

Gowling WLG is pleased to announce the re-election of three office managing partners in Canada.

Regina Corrigan, Bryce Kraeker and Wayne Warren have each been re-elected as managing partners of the firm's Calgary, Waterloo Region and Ottawa offices respectively. Their four-year terms came into effect on Jan. 1, 2020.

  • Regina Corrigan
With more than 25 years' experience, Regina focuses her practice on IT law, technology law and trademarks - with an emphasis on the energy and transportation sectors. In 2016, she became the first woman to hold the position of managing partner in the firm's Calgary office. Under her leadership, the office of more than 250 legal professionals and staff continues to expand, thrive and innovate, despite recent economic challenges in Alberta.
  • Bryce Kraeker
Bryce focuses his practice on corporate finance transactions, governance and securities regulatory advice, primarily for cross-border private funds structures. As office managing partner, he has ventured to position the firm's Waterloo Region office to meet the demands of the region's flourishing tech sector - while also working to promote the strength of other key practice areas. He continues to play an instrumental role in leading the office's move to a brand new space in Kitchener's Innovation District.
  • Wayne Warren
A seasoned corporate and commercial lawyer, Wayne Warren provides strategic advice to clients on a breadth of corporate and commercial matters, including private M&A, corporate governance, the structuring and reorganization of business enterprises and substantial contractual arrangements. Over the past four years, Wayne has worked vigorously to further cement the firm's reputation as the legal market leader in Ottawa - all while leading the office through a major renovation.

Currently in the midst of their four-year terms as office managing partner are Vancouver's Brent Kerr, Toronto's Mark Ledwell, Hamilton's Louis Frapporti, Montreal's Pierre Pilote and Moscow's David Aylen.
