Adam Carlin

Adam Carlin is an associate lawyer in Gowling WLG's Waterloo Region office. He first joined the firm in the summer of 2015 as a law student.

As a bilingual graduate of McGill University's joint common law and civil law program, Adam has a comprehensive understanding of Canada's two legal systems, allowing him to bring a big picture, Canada-wide perspective to his legal work.

Born and raised in Waterloo Region, Adam has worked for several local employers, including at a prominent manufacturer and a media company, and has developed a keen sense for the needs of local clients. Adam has also worked in the Region's legal community for the past four years - both as part of the Gowling WLG team and within a large regional firm where he gained significant experience in both corporate law and advocacy.

While at law school, Adam volunteered as a student ambassador and member of the Legal Research Clinic at McGill.

With a passion for business and the latest technology, Adam strives to help clients - local, national and international - achieve their goals in a practical and cost-efficient manner.
