Emily Coulson

Emily Coulson is an associate in Gowling WLG's Hamilton office. She joined the firm as a summer student in 2019.

Emily obtained a dual JD degree from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law.

During law school, Emily spent her time serving the local community, including volunteering at the Downtown Mission in Windsor; acting as a facilitator for the High School Outreach program, which assisted students in preparing for mock trial; and advocating for veterans with disability claims at the Veterans Law Clinic in Detroit. In addition, Emily participated in intramurals and was a member of the Windsor Sports and Entertainment Law Society. She received Book Awards for Dual Canadian and US Evidence as well as Anatomy of a Business Transaction LFP.

Prior to law school, Emily completed an honours BSc in Kinesiology at McMaster University.
