Maggie Sainty

Maggie Sainty is a summer student in Gowling WLG's Toronto office. She is completing her juris doctor in the French Common Law Program at the University of Ottawa.

While Maggie works to complete her JD, she has stayed involved in various ways throughout the legal community. Maggie worked at the Department of Justice as a legal intern. She also was a teaching assistant for alternative dispute resolution as well as a research assistant at the University of Ottawa. She also served as VP of athletics for the Common Law Students’ Society at the university. Furthermore, she had the opportunity to work at Reach Canada through Pro Bono Students Canada, where she provided legal referral services for people with disabilities.

Before starting at law school, Maggie completed a dual degree in international business, where she spent two years at Brock University and two years at Neoma Business School in Reims France. She earned a bachelor in business administration and a bachelor in international business management respectively.

Maggie will focus her summer in the firm's Advocacy department.
