Natasha Brown acts on a range of development and investment transactions, helping clients to acquire, assemble and dispose of property sites. She also assists owners, investors and funders to actively manage and enhance their property portfolios and assets.

Natasha has gained a range of commercial property experience and particularly enjoys the challenging and analytical nature of complex commercial development and investment work. Her clients are primarily property companies, developers, funds and landowners, and she recognises the importance of providing solid legal advice, whilst also keeping a client's commercial objectives at the forefront of a transaction.

Experience

  • The acquisition and subsequent sale of a potential development site to a fund, in particular dealing with full investigation of title and resolving title matters, early identification and resolution of development constraints and working to tight deadlines.
  • The acquisition of a complex site in Lincolnshire for the development of a large vehicle processing unit. This involved reviewing and reporting on title, investigation of unregistered land and dealing with defective title matters and land registry issues.
  • Regularly acting for commercial landlord's on the grant of new leases, re-gears and renewal leases, licences and in relation to assignments, sub-lets and alterations and advising in relation to lease structure, lease renewals and 1954 Act matters.
  • The successful completion of a time sensitive disposal of a substantial freehold office building in Birmingham.
  • Negotiating and processing utility leases and grants of easements for development sites.
