Tracey Scher

Tracey Scher is the general manager of Gowling WLG's Vancouver office and a member of the firm's senior Administrative Management Committee and the Vancouver Office Management Committee.

As general manager, Tracey is responsible for overseeing all non-legal activities of the Vancouver office, including business management of its operations, accounting and finance, human resources, marketing, knowledge management, facilities and systems.

Tracey began her career as a corporate lawyer in the UK, where she worked in private practice and in-house for over a decade.  After a further 10 years in the hospitality industry as owner-operator of a boutique holiday resort in France, Tracey moved to Vancouver where she spent four years as chief operating officer of another Vancouver law firm. She joined Gowling WLG in 2020.

Tracey embraces innovation and change, and over the last 25 years has gained valuable experience managing people and operations both within and outside the legal sector.
