Adain Bailey

Bio

Adain is an associate in the firm's construction and international arbitration team who focuses her practice on complex, high value disputes arising from major construction, engineering, and infrastructure projects.

She has experience in advising and resolving disputes under the major forms of contract including JCT, NEC and FIDIC as well as bespoke contracts. She has represented a variety of clients across a range of jurisdictions in international arbitrations and adjudications.

Adain has been recognised as a Key Lawyer at Gowling WLG by Legal 500 2024 and 2025 for International Arbitration.

Experience

Representing a consortium of international contractors in disputes arising from the construction of a water project in Iraq.
Representing the successful applicant in Triathlon Homes LLP v (1) SVDP (2) Get Living Plc (3) EVML [2024] UKFTT 26 PC.
Representing a subcontractor in a dispute arising from the construction of an integrated gasification combined cycle facility in the Middle East.
Representing a contractor in a dispute relating to the construction of aviation fuel storage facilities in the UK.
Representing an international engineering solutions company on a dispute arising out of the rebuild of an industrial facility in Northern Europe.
