Employment law is a complex and fast-moving discipline so clients need an adviser who understands how the latest case law and legislative changes affect their situation. In such a constantly changing climate, an extremely high level of current awareness is critical together with capture and dissemination of knowledge.
As a dedicated Principal Associate Professional Support/ Knowledge Lawyer focusing on current awareness and know how. Connie is responsible for delivering technical legal expertise and training for her team and clients. She is the author of numerous client updates and legal articles, including the highly regarded annual Year Review round-up. She is the author of the firm's Employment Essentials Newsletter and the regularly updated Employment law legislation tracker - Employment Essentials: Employment law changes 2025 and beyond.
Connie also keeps employment lawyers across the UK up to date as she has for a number of years been an active member of several national employment law knowledge/training bodies regularly organising and chairing event for:
- The Employment Lawyers Association – National Training Committee representative
- The Industrial Law Society – West Midlands regional representative to the Executive Committee
- Professional Support Lawyers Employment Network – national steering committee member
Connie often contributes articles for publications including Lexis+, PLC and ELA Briefing. She produces together with Lexis+ Employment a Case Tracker and in 2025 has been appointed to the Lexis+ UK Employment Consulting Editorial Board.
