Peter Anagnostou

Peter is a construction law specialist with over 13 years' experience advising global contractors, funders, engineers, consultants, developers and government bodies across the Middle East.
Peter has particular expertise advising clients during the life of a project as a problem solver and risk manager. He helps contractors and developers alike assess and present their claims to facilitate meaningful negotiations and has considerable experience as counsel in international arbitration, litigation and adjudication.
Peter has acted as counsel in arbitrations seated in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Singapore, Sydney, London, Paris, and Brussels, under various rules including ICC, SIAC, ACICA, DIAC, LCIA and DIFC-LCIA.
Peter is a thought leader and industry commentator for the Middle East construction industry and is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). He was previously a member of the Global Steering Committee for the CIArb Young Members Group, a member of the IBA Young Members Committee and Councillor of the Asia Pacific Forum for International Arbitration.
