Ryan Collins is an articling student in Gowling WLG’s Calgary office.
Ryan obtained his JD and Certification in Common Law in French from the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Law in 2024. During his legal studies, Ryan participated in the French stream of the Canadian National Negotiation Competition, where he obtained the Spirit of Negotiation Award, and the 2024 Michel Bastarache Moot Court Competition, where he won the Michel Bastarache Prize for exemplifying the spirit of fair play, dedication to French, and camaraderie among colleagues.
In his second year, he served as the vice president of events for the Saskatchewan Chapter of the Runnymede Society. During his third year, he helped organize the 2024 edition of the Law Games, a national academic and athletic competition for law students.

Outside of law, Ryan enjoys reading in French, golfing or training for his next triathlon.
