Maritime technology company Satlink acquires Xeos Technologies

On January 22, 2024, Satlink announced that it had acquired Xeos Technologies. 

Satlink, headquartered in Madrid, Spain, is a company focused on the development of proprietary high value-added technological solutions for the maritime sector, focusing on sustainable management and knowledge of ocean resources. 

Xeos Technologies, headquartered in Halifax, Nova Scotia, provides specialized asset-tracking solutions and communication services for high-value devices operating under harsh maritime environments and the oceanographic field. 

With this acquisition, Satlink increases its presence in North America, where the company initially established a presence in 2020. As such, Satlink will complement its existing locations in Spain, Korea, Taiwan, Seychelles, Ecuador and Fiji with a new office in Canada.
