Aljouri is a member of Gowling WLG's Riyadh office. Her practice spans two areas. The first is intellectual property and technology, including trademarks, data privacy and AI regulation. The second is corporate law, including general corporate matters and corporate structuring. She brings knowledge of both Saudi and international regulatory frameworks to each.
Before joining the firm, Aljouri trained at Al Tamimi & Company in Riyadh and in the Intellectual Property & Technology practice at DLA Piper. At DLA Piper she supported trademark opposition proceedings, assisted with the IP aspects of M&A due diligence, which gave her exposure to corporate transactions, and contributed to data privacy and technology advisory projects. She completed the International Sports Law Program in Germany and Switzerland and studied the Foundations of AI Law and Regulations at the London School of Economics and Political Science. She also helped develop Shwra's AI-powered lawyer (shwra.ai), the first of its kind in the Middle East, which gave her first-hand insight into the legal issues that new technologies raise.
Aljouri is responsive and practical. She works to understand each client's commercial goals and gives clear, accurate advice that helps clients structure their businesses effectively, protect their assets, manage risk and move forward with confidence.
