May 31, 2025 – The second reporting deadline under the Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act is fast approaching, yet many companies remain uncertain about their compliance obligations. At the same time, recent guidance from Public Safety Canada, released in November 2024, introduces key updates that may directly impact how the legislation applies to your business and the content of your report.
Businesses subject to the Act’s reporting requirements are legally responsible for ensuring compliance with its provisions, and any information submitted to Public Safety Canada may be subject to verification at any time. To avoid potential risks, it’s critical to understand your obligations, and to accurately disclose supply chain practices, and related disclosure requirements.
To help you navigate this legislation effectively, we invite you to join Stephen Pike, a recognized authority on supply chain transparency and regulatory compliance, for a timely and practical webinar. He will break down the key requirements, address common questions, and offer practical guidance to help your organization meet its disclosure and compliance obligations.
This session is eligible for up to 0.75 hour of substantive CPD credits with the LSO, the LSBC and the Barreau du Québec.
