On June 1, 2023, 3Desco Design, a mechanical engineering and manufacturing services firm for the industrial and commercial sectors headquartered in Longueuil, Québec, acquired SMP Tech, Inc.

SMP Tech, also located in Longueuil, is a machining company and supplier of machined parts and machining services for high-tech industry.
