Financial Services and Funds team advises Pacific Asset Management
Our Financial Services and Funds team has advised on a transaction between UK-based asset manager Pacific Asset Management (Pacific) and Pinnacle Investment Management, a global multi-affiliate investment management firm.
The transaction, saw Pinnacle acquire the remaining interests in Pacific that it did not already own, having first invested in the business in 2024. Pacific Asset Management, in which Pacific Investments was a founding investor, has grown rapidly in recent years, expanding its assets under management from £2.6 billion in 2022 to £14 billion in 2025. The firm’s strategy is centred on high-conviction, craft-based fund management and multi-asset solutions, supported by continued investment in technology and innovation.
Our team advising on the transaction was led by Partner Kris Rogers with support from Principal Associate Emily Airton, Associate Jack Qualtrough and Trainee Oli Stevenson. There was further support from Kate Featherstone (Tax), and Angela Rawlins and Karnvir Nanra (Banking and Finance).
Our Financial Services and Funds team advises on a whole range of global asset management and fund matters, including public and private M&A, specialist regulatory advice, commercial arrangements and regulatory investigations and disputes.
