Hi I'm Sheila Carnegie and Kate Swine from Gowling WLG. Our team is disappointed not to have the opportunity to meet with many of you at INTA in Singapore but these are extraordinary times what matters most is that you are all safe and well and in this time of remote working, we hope to bring you the information you need to help your business in an easy to consume format. So even though we cannot meet you in person we've captured many of the topics that we would have discussed with you in a series of short informative commentaries on 5 things you need to know in each jurisdiction across our offices. Please visit Gowling WLG's new digital platform, Go XL, for easy access to these and other such posts videos webinars and podcasts that will allow you to stay informed and stay connected with us. We're looking forward to seeing you in person and stay safe everyone.
As we reflect on how much the world has changed in just a few short weeks, it should go without saying how disappointed we were to miss the opportunity to meet and share with you during what would have been INTA’s 2020 Annual Meeting in Singapore.
That said, if there’s one thing the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has underscored for us all it’s the critical importance of staying connected and engaged at a time when face-to-face contact is no longer possible.
With this understanding top of mind, last week Gowling WLG was excited to launch GoXL, a developing digital platform designed to allow intellectual property owners and advisers alike to receive information and services in a way that reflects the dynamism of today’s global market.
As part of GoXL’s launch – and in lieu of our team’s ability to connect with you directly last week – our professionals have compiled a thoughtful series of easy-to-digest articles, which together highlight the salient characteristics of, and recent developments concerning, the trademark protection regimes of key jurisdictions.
You can access each of these articles using the links below:
We hope you find these pieces helpful and use them as a springboard into further exploration of each country’s unique trademark landscape. As always, our team remains ready and eager to assist you with any questions or challenges you may face.
