Gowling WLG leads the way in FTSE AIM 100 rankings
Gowling WLG has once again topped the rankings for its number of FTSE AIM 100 clients for this quarter.
Data from Adviser Rankings for Q4 of 2019 show the firm has moved up from second place in the table last quarter to take joint first place - a position Gowling WLG held in Q2.
Gowling WLG has retained second place in the rankings for the total number of AIM clients (44) and Client Market Cap.
The firm has also strengthened its advantage at the top of the Basic Materials tables, with 19 clients (nine ahead of second place), and also leads the way with Financials & Real Estate Clients (14).
Corporate partner Charles Bond said: "We're pleased to have maintained our strong position in the AIM market rankings despite a difficult market.
"The firm has led the way for some time in the Mining sector and is pleased to be ranked top of the Financials & Real Estate sector given the wider firm's strength in those areas.
"The latest rankings reflect the long established expertise our team has on the AIM market across these and a variety of other sectors such as Technology, Industrials and Energy, but as always we do not take these achievements lightly, and they spur us on to maintain and enhance our extremely high standards of client service delivery. We are always looking to grow our practice and more recently have been acting for potential issuers and advisers in the medicinal cannabis sector."
With one of the largest equity capital market teams in the City, and with the ability to leverage off our large Canadian capital markets practice, Gowling WLG is widely recognised for its leading position in the AIM market, as well as in the Main Market for listed investment funds. The firm acts for numerous issuers, investment management houses and the investment banks and brokers that advise them. It brings together experts in corporate, finance, tax, regulatory and dispute resolution to provide a full legal service to its clients.
