Sahil Shoor inducted as a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America
Gowling WLG is pleased to announce that Sahil Shoor, a partner in the firm’s Disputes Group, has been inducted as a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America (CLSA). This prestigious recognition reflects Sahil’s significant contributions to construction law and places him among a distinguished international community of practitioners.
The CLSA is an invitation-only international honourary society with Fellowship limited to 1,200 practising construction lawyers. Fellows are selected following an evaluation of their effectiveness and accomplishments in construction law, together with their ethical reputation.
Sahil advises project participants on complex construction and infrastructure projects nationally involving bridges, highways, pipelines, power and energy plants, transit, industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and civil works facilities. His approach connects sophisticated legal advocacy with an understanding of project delivery and the technical, contractual, and commercial issues involved. He helps clients assess risk, make informed decisions, and pursue strategies aligned with their business objectives.
“This Fellowship is a meaningful milestone in my career, and I am grateful to the clients and colleagues whose trust and collaboration have shaped my practice,” said Sahil. “With continued investment in infrastructure across Canada and the evolving challenges of project delivery, there’s a lot to be gained from exchanging perspectives with practitioners around the world. I look forward to learning how others are approaching these issues and bringing those insights back to our team and clients.”
