Gowling WLG strengthens its tax team with partner hires
Gowling WLG has strengthened its UK tax practice with the appointment of two new partners.
Matthew Poole and Paul Shaw have joined from Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) and will be based at the firm's London office.
Matthew and Paul are Corporate Tax specialists who bring a wealth of experience in acting for a broad range of clients, including major institutions and private capital. Their primary focus will be on complex multi-disciplinary transactions in the real estate sector and they will add significant strength in depth.

The partners will work closely with Head of Tax, Lee Nuttall, and Corporate Finance and Tax group leader, Stuart Young.

Gowling WLG's tax practice advises clients on a wide range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), investment funds, indirect tax, dispute resolution and transfer pricing.
